An order has already been placed for this radical boat by a Dubai based race team, and we think it’s the coolest thing to hit the water since the Jackass boys’ lake jumping stunt.

The racing boat, dubbed the R8.8, has design cues taken from the road-fairing Audi R8. It is 8.8 meters in length (hence the name) and any potential owner will have the choice of two power options – a V10 diesel, powered by bio-fuel for the planet-friendly petrolhead, or a pair of thirsty V8s for those who can’t resist the grunt of a double whammy engine set-up.
