BMW M3 crashed into house

Check out the images of this mangled BMW M3 – pretty amazing considering everyone inside was able to walk away with nothing more than a few bumps and bruises.

The 400bhp beemer was being driven by its 19-year-old owner when he lost control and stacked it into the front of a house. One of the passengers in the car later added the images and description to the E46fanatics forum, to share his experience with the world.

But my question is: while we would all love a car like this, should there be an age limit imposed on vehicles as powerful as this M3, or should there be at least a mandatory driving test for cars over a certain BHP?

What do you guys think?

Many blog sites blame the parents for buying teenagers such powerful cars. But, wouldn’t we ask our parents for the cash for a similar ride if money wasn’t an issue?

“crazy ****ing night....so my girlfriend had a kickback last night at her house. an hour after i arrive a kid in a brand new 08 m3 shows up...car doesn’t even have 1000 miles on it yet...so me and 2 others decide to go for a little ride in it...car was ridiculously loud and fast....so we go up and down a hill a few times to warm the car up...then the genius decides to put it in M mode....he floores it up the hill...****ing fastest **** ever...then he loses control...hops a curb...car turns sideways...and we end up in someone’s front yard...everyone walked out though thank god...i think my thumb is broken and i have a bruise on my collar bone from the seat belt. BMW crash system was amazing...i don’t know how anyone could survive that we were probably going 60 mph....”
