Keith Cowie’s R32

There are Skylines, and then there are Skylines. Keith Cowie’s R32 is one of the latter. It’s a drag machine that has a serious reputation which is not built on hot air alone.

The real focus of this drag racing monster is the engine, a 3.0-litre OS Giken to be exact. Its spec list is an impressive read for any tech-hungry car fan.
The RB Motorsport cylinder head, and a massive Turbo Dynamics 1250bhp GT Spec single turbo alone are enough to get the taste buds going.
 
The transmission is nearly all OS Giken as well, and runs a R4C four-plate clutch assembly, OS-88 six-speed OS Giken sequential gearbox and a custom fabricated RB Motorsport gear cluster.
 
The technical porn list continues with an OS Giken limited front and rear diff. A suitable choice when you are trying to transfer all 1250 horses to the black stuff.
