Could this be the baddest Honda S2000 in the tuning scene?
We’ll let you be the final judge, but, the car is sitting pretty high on our wish list. As you may be aware we really dig the Honda two-seater and examples don’t come much meaner than this Time Attack ready version from the Top Fuel tuning company.
Early on in 2008, this carbon-clad S2k set a new front-engined, rear wheel-drive (FR) record on the Tsukuba Circuit, seeing off the 1.2 mile lap in 55.350s.
The F20C stock engine is bored and stroked to 2.2-litres and has been given a massive boost from a Garrett 3240 turbo. Add a whole bunch of Top Fuel products and the engine barely resembles the stock factory item.
This S2k has the triple threat combo. It has the looks; it’s lighter than a weight-watchers crisp and has more horses under the good foot than John Wayne ever did.
