Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel for Lotus & Toyotaposted by ProductAddict, 11-Nov-08
There is nothing I hate more than a heavy-ass flywheel. Well, there is… But, that’s for another blog on another site. Fidanza is the leading force in American lightweight Flywheels, and have just launched one for the Toyota 2ZZGE and 2ZZGE engines. If you’ve never consider an aftermarket fly, then this is the chance to reconsider. Designed with a lighter outer edge, the removal of excess weight, greatly helps improve acceleration power, ideal for those who...
MotoGP 08 breaks track record
posted by GameAddict, 11-Nov-08
Having changed hands more times than a dodgy five pound note, the MotoGP games franchise has sometimes looked in danger of being lost in the crowd, but finally somebody seems to have got it right as this is a cracker… First it was Namco, then it was THQ, and now it is Capcom’s turn to have a go. And given the success of previous instalments, compared to titles like Forza 2, you could be forgiven for seeing this as something of an unenviable task. That said, Capcom...
Zonda F fappin’ fantastic
posted by NewCarAddict, 10-Nov-08
There are no words to make this car any better than it is. The fact is that for me, the Zonda F, f-ing rocks harder than any other car. Not only because it’s faster than a speeding bullet, hitting 60mph in 3.6 seconds and topping out at 214mph, it also looks killer when it’s just sat parked up. I saw this slick looking model on 6speed after it was snapped on the streets in Japan. Carbon, chrome and leather, make a party that I’d want to be invited...
Nissan 370Z Nismo S-Tune leak
posted by NewCarAddict, 10-Nov-08
Sweet baby Jesus, you’ve got to have some love for the internet. Nothing can be kept secret for long and it seems Nissan are having its pants whipped down again as the brochure for the hot tuned Nismo 370 has been leaked. It’s leaks and celebrity sex scandal videos that justify our monthly internet bill here at Motoraddicts HQ. So, we got all excited about this latest addition, the only problem is the thing is in Japanese. However, if you fancy having a...
Ladies of SEMA
posted by LifestyleAddict, 10-Nov-08
It’s not only the cars that make a good car show. The real reason so many guys go armed with a camera is to snap the bodywork of the promo babes and they don’t get much better than the ones at SEMA. It’s Monday morning and if your coffee hasn’t yet kicked in yet, then this may help perk you up from the weekend. We found this awesome highlight video from the good people at Carscoop. So sit back, open an excel spread sheet, tap the keys...
Paris Hilton’s pink…
posted by NewCarAddict, 07-Nov-08
There is no way you’d miss this motor in a hurry. That’s why it belongs to the lady that loves the limelight, Paris Hilton. Not being a great fan of the colour, you have to give her props for driving a non-stock whip. The work was carried out by the kings of pimping, West Coast Customs, and the pink Benters is currently on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. According to sources it’ll be delivered to the lovely Miss Hilton after the event, so she...
Free paint job!
posted by LifestyleAddict, 07-Nov-08
If you’re taking a hit from the financial slump, if your pockets are shallower and that one-off paint job is fast becoming a distant dream, then Motoraddicts may have the solution. How about getting a few mates round, cracking open some 40’s and letting rip with a batch of rattle cans? Forget your flip-flop paint, micas and pearls there is a cheaper option, But, only if you have the minerals to trust the people with the paint cans in their hands. Check out...
1000bhp purple throbber
posted by EventAddict, 06-Nov-08
The lineup at this year's SEMA it’s looking untrue. Everyday more sick ass pictures of some of the hottest rides on the plant are coming out of the Vegas show and I'm kind of in awe of what goes on there. Take for example this 1000bhp one-off ride dubbed the Scythe. Built on the chassis of a Mustang this has been cranking heads in the desert and you can see why. But the really freakin badass mod on this ride isn’t the lairy kit or mahoosive wheels, it’s...
Word from SEMA is that the Camaro is king.
posted by NewCarAddict, 05-Nov-08
The American Muscle car is taking this year’s SEMA show by storm and here is a super fine example that everyone should see - the MotiV8r built by Prodigy Customs. Transformation from a stock red Camaro to the grey and carbon street eater it is today is an incredible journey. Any tell-tale signs of the car’s age have been removed to make this classic look fresher than it did all those years ago. The MotiV8r runs a Richmond 6-speed box with a Centreforce...
Hummer lays track down at SEMA
posted by NewCarAddict, 05-Nov-08
At this year’s SEMA show there are some amazing rides on display and the largest car show in the world opened its doors yesterday. Although all eyes will be on the show halls, this Hummer H2T shows that’s it’s not just about what’s on the stands. Who needs wheels when you can roll on tracks? Yep it’s time to bin those chrome, ballin’ 22-inch rims that cost the same as a small family car, for some all-terrain belts. Probably...
