Carbon heater panel
I thought it was about time to add some carbon goodness to my project MR2.
So I decided to ignore the important things, like the gearbox whine and clutch issues, and instead spunked some cash on making the interior look a little bit faster. I sit in the car for at least a few hours each day, so how could I not buy a carbon heater panel – surely this will keep me happy before shelling out for the big repair bills!
I ordered this real carbon panel from Carben-Fibre Creations and it speedily arrived the next day – I guess the postman also felt the benefits of my MR2 weight reduction. Each item is made by the firm’s owner, Ben, here in the UK – they do ship internationally if you fancy getting hooked up with some mineral weave.
The finish is excellent and so far I’m mega-chuffed with my purchase. I’ll just have to not think about the gearbox at the minute…
