Blue tinted outlook
On Saturday, Carl and I decided to tint the windows of his latest truck. Everybody I know dreads adding their own tint and they normally go to a professional fitter, but we were up for the challenge. It was us against the film…
We brought a few rolls of blue and set to work.
By cutting the tint to a more manageable size about an inch over the edge of the glass, we found it fairly easy to work with. Using a spray of water allowed us to move the film around, once it was on the glass.
After two hours all three windows were tinted and looking bluer than Papa Smurf at the North Pole.
And what made it look even better was that warm feeling inside knowing we’d saved ourselves £100 that would have had to go to a professional.
