FFWD Styling Punto
Roughly nine years ago I was working for FFWD Styling, one of the biggest aftermarket car part retailers in the UK. It was here, I had a hand in building a MKII Fiat Punto for a competition prize in Fast Car magazine.
At the time the car had all our latest parts inside and out. The deep dish Euro rims had to be imported from Germany and the -50mm springs were developed especially for this car. The interior was stripped out and replaced with two racing seats, harnesses, steering wheel and a van load of Vibe Audio.
My favourite part though was the custom-built quad exit exhaust - it looked awesome sticking through the chunky aftermarket rear bumper.
I haven’t seen the car since that day until last weekend when I was cruising through High Wycombe town centre. It still looks in mint condition and still sports the FFWD Styling graphic I designed all those years ago!
It was awesome to see it on the roads and in great condition - a rolling time capsule for a great former styling company.
