Sumo Power opens Japanese Office in Yokohama

'After 5 fantastic years with our Japanese agents, this week Sumo confirmed the official opening of Sumo Power Japan to further cement the relationship.

Based in Yokohama, Sumo Power Japan serves as the supply and information hub for all Sumo Power Japanese product supply and commercial connections directly in Japan.

Andy Barnes, MD Sumo Power said ' This decision has been planned for some time and we are pleased to take our business further and in a direction that benefits our customers. The addition of Sumo Japan means that we can deal directly on a daily basis with our suppliers and maintain fantastic relationships with them which makes our business much easier and stronger. The real effect of this situation reduces the unknowns that our competitors face, such as translation issues or tracking down hard to find parts for customers. The same staff we have worked with for 5 years continue to contribute to the reputation Sumo has which is to supply any part from Japan and at a reasonable cost, they are key to our sales in the UK and this is why this news is so important to the future of our business and what it really means to our customers.' '
