RECORD SHATTERING CASTROL EDGE WINTERNATIONALS ON THE NATIONAL NINE NETWORK

With the season-ending, record shattering Castrol EDGE Winternationals now run and won, fans can sit back and re-live all the record-setting action with an unprecedented four National Nine Network programs reviewing the event.

All of the Group One category battles and record-setting performances that played out over the Queen’s Birthday Weekend Celebrations at Willowbank Raceway will be there for fans to watch from the comfort of their loungeroom.

The Hog’s Breath Top Fuel category will be first up, with now three-time champion Phil Read, Top Fuel glamour girl Amanda Shepherd and miracle man Phil Lamattina all making an appearance on July 13.

Two week’s later on July 27 it will be time for Jack Daniel’s Top Doorslammer, with the category that set the majority of the world records set to make for some exciting viewing.

On August 3rd, it will time for Castrol EDGE Top Alcohol and Morgan & Wacker Pro Stock Motorcyle, before the Travelaire Tours Pro Stock and Morgan & Wacker Top Bike categories round-out the Castrol EDGE Winternationals coverage on August 10th.

Following these scheduled programs (fans should check their local guides for times) there will also be a ANDRA Championship Drag Racing Season review show, so be sure to keep your eye on the National Nine Network in the coming months.

Additional to all of this, coverage will continue on the SBS 'Speedweek' program with more than nine hours of coverage still to come, while all of the above shows will also be repeated on Fox Sports and a Sportsman Special (also on Fox) will showcase the final round of the Rocket Allstars Drag Racing Series at the Castrol EDGE Winternationals.

Next up and new for 2008 at Willowbank Raceway is the Spring Top Fuel Championships, which will see all the action from Top Fuel, Top Alcohol and Pro Stock and the Rocket AllStars Series hit the track for September 26 and 27.
