A Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder made an impressive appearance below our first floor office window this morning. It was the first time that any of the Motoraddicts team had spotted one of these top supercars on the roads.
The exhaust tone echoed off the high loading-bay walls, as the throttle was blipped, alerting everyone to its arrival.
The V10 burbled on idle below, growling at a pleasant sound level, almost hypnotic as the 520 bhp engine waited to set off again.
Hoping to see it hit 60mph in the 4.3 sec was probably pushing my luck, but with a price tag of £139,000 (USD$195,000) it was lucky to see it brave the London highways at all.
