Spanish motorshow september 07

The place to be...

Barcelona trip to the two day Spanish motor show on the first weekend of September was an awesome experience and a top show to be at. The UK shows are good but there now getting a bit stagnant with the same cars, girls, and crews head lining.

The cars in Europe are of a different spin of the coin with everything being tuned to the max in each person’s own unique style with much fine detailing of handles that go inwards and gear knobs shaped like the bullet housing from dirty harry. With each person’s car seemingly having thrown loads of money on it rather than having dribs and drags here and there which is a common sighting in the streets now with everyone saying “its a work in progress” doesn’t quite work if you been saying it for over a year now does it?

Colours are vibrant and bright which in the Hispanic sun made then really stand out. I notice a lot of them where in the RX7 colour scheme from Tokyo drift of orange and black which looks nice on any nicely kitted up car but when you line up several cars along side you lose each cars individual styling points. Especially with puntos and clios lining next to TT

The atmosphere too was just to be expected pretty much the same as at the brit shows but with a lot more tanned bodies on display. You could quite clearly see all the northern Europeans haha.

Distinct lack of nissans for show exclude the drift cars of course.  Should get a uk team rollup show how we style our monsters get some pulsars, 300 and civics up (well tuned of corse)

I certainly plan to attend next year
