The Godfather: Honda NSX

The Honda NSX is the daddy. In standard form it’s enough to give you motoring wood, but add a few aftermarket tweeks and you get something so damn-good it should be illegal.

Nothing comes hotter than this custom J Racing widebody version. The red and carbon Honda is traffic stopping, just check out those huge arches sitting over those staggered 18-19-inch Top Secret Gold rims. The car being held firmly in place by a set of Tein RA coilovers.

If you saw this looming up in your rear-view, you’d best move over. The 2.0-litre mid-mounted engine has also received lashings of carbon-fibre in the form of a Pro-Car airbox. The roar has been amplified like a Jimmy Hendrix concert thanks to a GruppeM competition exhaust.

Not only does it look loud it has the bite to match. The NSX was Japan’s answer to European supercars, and while the Ferrari’s and Lambos of the same era are starting to show their age; the NSX still looks fresh enough to pick fights with the new kids on the block.
