When getting an STI isn’t a bad thing

The keys to a Subaru STI landed on my desk last night. I’m pretty excited to see how I get on with the car as it comes with such a rich motoring pedigree.

At first glances the key fob is gigantic. If you’ve got it in a trouser pocket, you could come off worse if you happen to sit at a funny angle. It’s quite literally a brick with a key stuck in it.

The latest Impreza has never appealed to me aesthetically, it’s uglier than thewomen’s shotput podium! But, I don’t want that to sway my decision on this motor. I mean everyone knows the ten to two’ers go the best anyway…
