379bhp M.A Developments Cossie
Power is king, so long live the king. Getting extra horses from your car is becoming more important than ever on the scene right now.
So, the tuning firms have to keep on their toes, and producing power figures for customers is crucial. I headed down to Motorworx to check out the latest conversion from M.A Developments (MAD) to help Cossie owners gain those all-important ponies.
The latest conversion keeps standard internals and doesn’t require extensive head work. An uprated turbo and inlet cam were added to this Sapphire Cossie and the car hit 379bhp and 387.7 lb-ft of torque. Not bad when you consider they run 220bhp standard.
This first time run for the MAD guys proved to be valuable, and they soon figured that with a slight rework of the intake plenium they would be able to have this car running over 400 horsepower.
You can’t deny that any Cossie owner would be chomping at the bit to be hitting that type of power without extensive porting and internal work.
Check out our video footage and how this Ford squats in the rollers.
