What's all the complaining about?

I must admit that I'm finding it hard to see what the complaining is about when it comes to Hummers. If tree huggers don't like them they should simply deal with it and sit in a forest for a while to get over it. OK, so they generate a lot of polution, but that shouldn't be a reason to hate them, should it? Surely it's worse to have a car that generates half the pollution of a Hummer, but to drive it 10 times as much. OK, if you have a Hummer and use it to drive 20 yards to the shops then you're an idiot, but if it's a 'hobby' thenm it's not that bad, is it?
