Loeb – a driving machine?
Is there any stopping the rally driving Frenchman, Sebastien Loeb? It seems not. Even with the best efforts of our office favourite, Mikko Hirvonen, chasing him down, Loeb is firmly on track to take a record breaking fifth World Championship.
Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena took another dominant win on the Rallye de France, held on the island of Corsica, last weekend taking his victory tally to 10 for this year.
The win means that Loeb can almost sit back in the following rounds, as long as he gets third place, he bags the overall win and his fifth consecutive title.
With the pressure mounting for the chasing teams to close the 14 point gap, the final two rounds could see some spectacular driving. So, make sure you tune in for Japan on October 31st.
