Red Bull Drifting World Championship
I’ve just been checking out some of the coolest drift pictures from the final round of the Redbull Drifting World Championships held in Long Beach, California.
As part of the biggest drift series know to man, the event attracted some major players in the car game, who turned out in force to see Rhys Millen take first and the World Championship in his Pontiac Solstice.
Drivers from as far away as New Zealand competed this season as well as wheelmen from GB's local Pro Drift series. But, even though the competition was worldwide, it was local resident Millen who took drifting to another level and claimed the highest entry speed of 103.7mph during the finals.
It was also good to see Castrol Edge adding sponsorship to his Solstice – maybe you can hook us up with a few passes in 09? ;)
