Dark Honda S2K

Damn, the guys at Importsnc are nailing the import scene. It was only a few months ago that we featured their Mugen-packing, JDM, DC2. And now they are back with another member’s ride, that is making jaws drop quicker than the global economy – a super dark Honda S2000.

I can’t hide the fact that I love the two-seater S2K. I’ve always thought they look cooler than an Alaskan beach party, and with a few choice modifications they can go from cool to sub-zero.

Judging by the finished ride, Richard from Importsnc obviously knew exactly how to achieve that crispy straight from the freezer look when he started work on his S2K.

After watching the Japanese Touge battles he knew the kings of the S2K were Amuse and J’s Racing. So, it’s no real surprise that this car is sporting a fair few goodies from both firms.

Richard has spent his bucks in all the right places, and you can see that as soon as you pop the hood. The ARC airbox thwacks you in the chops like a lighting fast ninja strike, and the super-shiny ARC valve cover look sick against the black paintwork.

The engine is given its running orders by a Mugen Competition ECU, and the car’s growl comes from the Powerhouse Amuse R-1 titan exhaust – you got to hear one of these roar!

The S2K as standard looks trick from the outside, but add a Powerhouse Amuse front lip and custom vented bumper and you have something that’s just a little bit special. The Cusco five-point cage also plays a part in the car’s mean looks, as well as acting as a functional bit of kit.

Despite the bodywork being kitted and clean, but you’d be Stevie Wonder if you didn’t notice the awesome gold 18-inch Advan SA3v2 rims. Sitting under the arches perfectly thanks to the Tein Flex coilovers, these badboys slam the car to full lockdown and help keep the S2K glued to the road.

With all this power brakes are as important as ever, and thanks Project Mu two-piece SCR rotors and 4-pots, slowing down to chat to girls is now easier than smuggling yourself into the UK in the back of a French lorry.

The car is most definitely on my cool list, and considering it was built in just over a year and a half, it makes you wonder what else is in store for this awesome S2000.
