These days gas mileage is as important as the price, but why bother if you aren't getting the power you really deserve? For less than five grand, the Blast gets you 69 mpg and a 492cc engine that is swift off the line with plenty of power in higher gears. Plus, with easy-to-reach controls for better handling, it's an ideal starter bike.
