Victor Bray - A cool guy with a hot car ...

Hi! I left high school and went to Gatton Agricultural College for 2 years, while I worked on the family tomato farm.

I started racing at the age of 18, mainly on the street (don't try that at home kids! ;-), as there were no organised track meets at that time.

As street meets began to be organised at Surfers Paradise International Raceway I started to frequent them. Surfers Paradise was my home track until it was shut down due to noise restrictions in 1987/88 (yep, before some of you were born). Since then, I've made Willowbank Raceway in Queensland my home track.

When I'm not hard at work tearing up the tar I'm cruising on it, in my vintage Chevrolet Impala Coupe. With hydraulic jumping suspension, custom rear spats and a 7” roof chop it's a genuine Mexican lowrider. In fact, I risked life and limb in the tough streets of Mexico to bring her back to Australia!
