Faster than a speeding fist: Dodge Viper ACR
posted by MotorsportAddict, Friday
The Dodge Viper ACR is an animal – in fact, it’s a reptile killer snake. Just as its name suggests, and just like the viper in nature, the ACR has the speed and the power to kill off its rivals. If you’re a Corvette ZR1 fan, then here’s a tissue to mop up your tears, as the 600bhp Viper ACR has just lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 22.1 seconds. Although the lap time is unofficial, I think it has definitely taken pole position for braggin’...

Nissan Skyline GTR R33 Dyno
posted by AddictEDITOR, Friday
It was time for Road Runner’s R33 to face the dyno. Most of the regular site users would have caught his blog, and the endless list of goodies that his 1995 Nissan Skyline came equipped with from Japan – if you didn’t click here. Sickening isn’t it?   With such an extensive tuning package, we all knew that the figures from this ride were going to be a little special, and the dyno is the place to sort the talk from the walk.   As you’ll see from the...

Top Motorcycles These new sport bikes are lightweight and comfortable enough for an entry-level rider, but they've also got enough power to satisfy a seasoned pro.     First released in '92, the Monster spawned a cult of naked bike enthusiasts, and the stripped-down sport bike's newest iteration only helps it to maintain icon status. With an emphasis on ergonomics, lightness, and custom styling for riders of every level, the Monster still packs the power you'd expect...

Looks like the cars from Blade Runner are never going to happen — or not anytime soon, anyway. IBM’s Institute for Business Value undertook a massive survey of automotive experts from all over the world in order to discover the shape of things to come, and the results are green: among other findings, it’s believed that all new cars will be hybrids by 2020. The industry may well be unrecognizably different in just over a decade, and the reasons for this are many: •...

We spotted this Ferrari 430 Scuderia this lunch time and I managed to snap a few cheeky pictures of the track ready edition. The Scuderia is over 100kg lighter than the regular 430, saving weight counts for seconds out on the track. Just check out the anchors on the front! The Carbon-ceramic stoppers are a massive 398mm and just about fit inside the wheels.
