A few changes to the Skyline.....
posted by Cliff J, 25-Nov-08
Hi all, Its been a bit mad lately, always something happening with my Skyline in one form or another. The car is an R33 GTR and I decided the tired old flaking engine covers needed to go and my Skyline deserved a heart .............. Also, I found a bargain 2nd hand (but almost new) set of K-sport 8 pot calipers, complete with 356mm disks, DS2500 pads and braided hoses, so snapped those up............. Then at the weekend I went down to see Gary who owns Jap salon (www.japsalon.com)...

2 new albums and 1 new video posted!!!
posted by "Q" www.SpeedSyndicate.net, 25-Nov-08
I've added 2 albums from the Team Transport Toys4Tots / Speed Ventures show and race in my gallery and 1 new video to our StreetFire page. This was a pretty cool event or a great cause. We had 3 cars in the show area and one on the track. I didn't race because I'm a poor student now and couldn't afford the $210. But Logan raced his supercharged civic and I got some decent bootleg video coverage. Video is here -->...
Engine oil additives
posted by JerryCamaron, 24-Nov-08
I have several cars, a few are classics like my 63' vette. Recently a colleague asked me if I use any special additives in my classic cars. Truthfully I haven't used any. I don't really believe in them. Then again I haven't really checked them out. For example, Slick50, Prolong, Duralube have been around for years. And there's a slew of other products like; Tufoil, QT, MPT, Power Rebuild, Xen Tx, Repair It, KOOL IT, etc. Are any of these products...

Subaru brakes on Saturday morning
posted by AddictEDITOR, 24-Nov-08
Last Saturday, I heard my friend Lex was heading over to see our mutual friend Carl (Motorworx) for an early morning brew and brake pad change. Seeing as I had no other plans and my head wasn’t still spinning from a heavy night-before. I decided to meet them to talk cars and take pictures of the hard work in progress. A Subaru pad change is an easy job and it wasn’t long before the job was complete and Lex could feel safer on the roads...
Red Bull Drifting World Championship
posted by MotorsportAddict, 24-Nov-08
I’ve just been checking out some of the coolest drift pictures from the final round of the Redbull Drifting World Championships held in Long Beach, California. As part of the biggest drift series know to man, the event attracted some major players in the car game, who turned out in force to see Rhys Millen take first and the World Championship in his Pontiac Solstice. Drivers from as far away as New Zealand competed this season as well as wheelmen from GB's...
Guys Court November meet
posted by Dogboxmedia, 24-Nov-08
It's well and truly winter in the UK with heavy rain, snow, sleet and sub zero temperatures the last thing I want to be doing is standing outside, but how could I pass up the Skyline owners meet at Guys court on such a wonderful day err Things have been a little quiet so I dragged myself down to Guys Thatched hamlet to eye up some J cars and socialise (in between rain showers) it was more than worth the trip. Clean looking GTR with BBS alloys I don't see many Pulsars around these days...
