Paris Hilton’s pink…
posted by NewCarAddict, 07-Nov-08
There is no way you’d miss this motor in a hurry. That’s why it belongs to the lady that loves the limelight, Paris Hilton. Not being a great fan of the colour, you have to give her props for driving a non-stock whip. The work was carried out by the kings of pimping, West Coast Customs, and the pink Benters is currently on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. According to sources it’ll be delivered to the lovely Miss Hilton after the event, so she...

If you’re taking a hit from the financial slump, if your pockets are shallower and that one-off paint job is fast becoming a distant dream, then Motoraddicts may have the solution. How about getting a few mates round, cracking open some 40’s and letting rip with a batch of rattle cans? Forget your flip-flop paint, micas and pearls there is a cheaper option, But, only if you have the minerals to trust the people with the paint cans in their hands. Check out...

The Guv’nor: Mike Reid

He is ruder than one of those under-the-counter DVDs and yet he’ll have you rolling with laughter. Mike Reid, is about as East End as Pearly kings, eating cockles and the Kray twins. His distinctive voice, charm and close to the line humour, placed him in the hall of fame for great British comics. For those outside the UK, who have never heard of Mike as a stand up comic, you may know him as Doug the Head in Guy Ritchie’s gangster flick, Snatch. He’s...
New 370Z caught undisguised
posted by Raymond Schoeman, 07-Nov-08
The latest incarnation of the Z-car legend from Nissan features a more aggressive front bumper set-up, crazy French curve inspired headlights and 243kW of power. Nissan’s real world performance coupe – the forthcoming 370Z – is to feature peculiar fishhook headlight styling. Though the car retains the classic long-nose, muscle car proportions true to its Z-car heritage, the new front and rear light styling treatment is very odd – even for an oriental...
exhaust upgrade/modification on the c20let motor - 200ts
posted by Pheonix, 07-Nov-08
Hi Guys. Can anyone offer some advise on the best setup for the c20let motor. currently the system is 57mm (standard) with a (57mm in and two 57mm out) chambered rear silence and the stock box upfront. I am thinking of removing the front box and running just the rear. how would this affect the performace and the motor/turbo (still stock, with remapped chip). Should i not change to a 63mm either from the downpipe or just from the rear onwards.. what do you guys think.

The years pretty much winding down so I figured i'd start with my top ten cars from 2008 it takes a lot to impress me these days as i've seen various theme and scenes done to death over the year, yeah you might thing your edgy with chrome lipped wheels but so does every Vauxhall Corsa in the UK. This is the first of ten cars, i've featured it before but its worth the recap. More often than not the best tends to be outside of the show scene and tucked up inside an enthusiasts garage like this...

The lineup at this year's SEMA it’s looking untrue. Everyday more sick ass pictures of some of the hottest rides on the plant are coming out of the Vegas show and I'm kind of in awe of what goes on there. Take for example this 1000bhp one-off ride dubbed the Scythe. Built on the chassis of a Mustang this has been cranking heads in the desert and you can see why. But the really freakin badass mod on this ride isn’t the lairy kit or mahoosive wheels, it’s...
Word from SEMA is that the Camaro is king.

The American Muscle car is taking this year’s SEMA show by storm and here is a super fine example that everyone should see - the MotiV8r built by Prodigy Customs. Transformation from a stock red Camaro to the grey and carbon street eater it is today is an incredible journey. Any tell-tale signs of the car’s age have been removed to make this classic look fresher than it did all those years ago. The MotiV8r runs a Richmond 6-speed box with a Centreforce...
